Kimi Antonelli had opened up a 66-point gap as the teams headed to Spain. McLaren will be desperate to replicate their 2025, in which Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri (who also set the fastest lap time that day) respectively finished first and third. Could they kickstart their season in Spielberg? Or perhaps Max Verstappen will add to his record four wins at the fittingly named Red Bull Ring.
It’s sure to be a gruelling five sessions and 71 laps on come Sunday, with temperatures set to hit the high 90s.
