Samsung has officially brought its browser to Windows after a six-month beta period. The new Samsung Browser for Windows runs on Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) and Windows 11. It runs on a Chromium‑based desktop interface that will look quite familiar to you if you’re a Chrome user, but it also includes built-in support for ad‑blocking, secret mode, dark mode, and extensions.

Samsung tightly integrates the Windows browser with its larger ecosystem. Users can sign in with a Samsung account and sync bookmarks, history, and open tabs from their phones, then continue browsing on a PC with whatever they were browsing on their other devices. Samsung Pass is available on Windows, too, so users can access their saved passwords, addresses, cards, and more.

The company also adds what it calls “agentic AI” to the browser via a partnership with Perplexity. Samsung says the AI can read pages, answer natural‑language questions, summarize long articles, and even pull context from several tabs at once.

It can also search history through prompts like “show me the smartwatch I looked at last week,” so users no longer have to remember site names or dates. At launch, Samsung says these AI functions work in South Korea and the United States, and it plans to expand to more regions later.
