In raster performance, the RX 9070 XT performs about as well as an RTX 4080 at 4K, and it outclasses the RTX 5070 Ti at 1440p. AMD still struggles in the ray tracing department, but the RX 9070 XT has native performance slightly below the RTX 4070 Ti at 4K. However, the GPU supports AMD’s FSR 4 tech, giving you access to AI-assisted upscaling and frame generation.
Otherwise, this machine comes with 32GB of DDR5-5200 memory and a 1TB SSD (presumably a midrange PCIe Gen4 drive). The memory speed is low, but that’s not a problem with X3D processors. Due to the large and speedy L3 cache, you don’t see much of a performance benefit with higher RAM speeds.
