Dell wants to make it easier for anyone building artificial intelligence (AI) tools to do it right from their desk. Capable of handling massive AI models, the new Pro Max with GB10 uses NVIDIA’s Grace Blackwell chip and comes with 128GB of unified memory and up to 4TB of storage to support models with up to 200 billion parameters. Testing and fine-tuning models locally instead of relying on the cloud means the data stays secure and the latency is low.
Dell
It runs NVIDIA’s DGX OS and full AI software stack (the same platform used in larger data centers), so developers can move their projects between environments without compatibility issues. The small form factor still manages to pack serious performance of up to a petaflop of compute. And if that’s not enough, two units can be linked for double the power. The Pro Max with GB10 will be available starting October 15.
