You know the situation in the tech world is dire when rare PC components are making their way into wedding gift lists. In one unique Turkish wedding, the bride and groom were gifted an RTX 5090 graphics card and a necklace made from RAM sticks. That’s going to make for a hell of a gaming rig, but maybe wait until after the honeymoon to set it up.
A cutesy video of a Turkish wedding ceremony appeared online earlier this week, complete with gifts from one of the groom’s friends. In it, he delivers a bow-wrapped Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics card and a number of RAM sticks. It’s no reference version either, but the MSI Suprim GeForce RTX 5090 in white, which is a premium tier for an already premium GPU.
The groom clearly has some incredible friends, as another then steps forward to give him an Intel Core Ultra 200 processor. He’s on his way to a complete rig, now: just motherboard, storage, PSU, and case to go.
Jokes aside, that’s an enormously generous gift from his friends, worth thousands upon thousands of dollars. Ironically, the RAM might be one of the most expensive gifts, though if it was purchased a few months ago, it might not have been quite so egregiously expensive then.
Still, graphics cards and memory (though not so much Intel CPUs) are the kinds of things that even billionaires can’t seem to get enough of right now (despite their mountains of money and privilege), so perhaps this is a fitting gift for a groom in 2026.
Here’s hoping that these gifts see him well into a happily married future.
